A seaside restaurant in Whitstable
Sea, wood and fire
The fish comes in from the harbour each morning, the bread from our own oven, and the evenings end by the fire. Tables can be booked up to two months ahead.

A kitchen that follows the season
The menu changes with the Kent seasons: asparagus and crab in spring, new potatoes and strawberries in summer, mushrooms and game in autumn, oven dishes and smoked fish in winter.
The morning catch
The fish comes from the bay's own fishermen, never from a freezer.
The birch-wood oven
Bread, root vegetables and salmon cook over an open fire in the middle of the room.
A table for every evening
The dining room seats 48, the terrace 40 and the private room up to 14 guests.
On the menu tonight
